Catch of the century in NatWest T20 Blast match between Lancashire and Yorkshire

The combined effort in the NatWest T20 Blast from Yorkshire duo Aaron Finch and Adam Lyth pulled off a Catch of the century. Lancashire batsman Tom Smith can feel himself pretty hard done by to have been dismissed for 55.

When it looked certain his big hit down the ground had beaten the field and gone for six, Yorkshire’s Lyth pulled off this astonishing piece of fielding to send him back to the pavilion.

Running backwards towards the boundary, Lyth made an attempt at a catch but realising he was about to fall over the rope, palmed the ball back to Finch and the Australian was alert enough to hold on.
